Biometal

Biometal is a 1993 side-scrolling shoot 'em up for the Super Nintendo (SNES) where players control the "Halbard" fighter to battle an alien threat known as the BioMetals. Developed by Athena and published by Activision, the game is known for its fast-paced action, customizable weapon system, and a techno soundtrack by the group 2 Unlimited. Players must blast through six levels of enemies, using a variety of weapons and a unique "Gel Analog Mutant" (GAM) shield/weapon to survive.
