Incredible Crash Dummies

The player controls the two titular Crash Dummies, Spin and Slick, on their adventure to save their kidnapped mates Spare Tire, Darryl, and Bumper from the Junkman.^[2]

The game begins with Slick putting himself back together after a car wreck, while Spin checks the Crash Test Center, a research and development place for machines which is the location for the first stage's first section.^[3] He finds that Bumper was kidnapped in the Test Area by one of Junkman's helpers ("Junkbots") who is holding him hostage in the sewers;^[3] thus, the level's second section consists of both dummies saving Bumper and having a boss battle with the henchman in the process.^[4]

The player must complete levels and overcome obstacles,^[5] jumping off from towering houses, driving breakneck lawns over life-threatening ski slopes, a ride on rocket-propelled target missiles, piloting spaceships, and other tasks.^[6] The game contains 27 stages.^[7]
