Legacy of the Wizard

Legacy of the Wizard is a 1987 action-RPG for the NES where the player explores a sprawling underground labyrinth as members of the Drasle family to defeat an evil dragon named Keela. Each of the five playable characters—including parents, children, and the pet monster Pochi—has unique abilities needed to navigate different sections of the dungeon, solve puzzles, and collect items like gold, keys, and crowns to obtain the Dragon Slayer sword. The game features non-linear exploration and character-specific progression, with players able to switch characters at the family's household at any time.
