Super Mario World

Super Mario World (1990/1991) is a seminal 2D side-scrolling platformer for the SNES where Mario and Luigi explore Dinosaur Land to rescue Princess Peach and Yoshi's friends from Bowser. It introduced Yoshi as a ridable companion, the Cape Feather for flight, and a sprawling, interconnected world map with 96 total goals.
